Hello all!
10th World Lit Honors
This week we'll start reading A Doll House by Henrik Ibsen (translated by Rolf Fjelde) in class. After this week, we'll finish reading A Doll House at home as your parallel reading, and will start reading the No Fear Shakespeare version of Taming of the Shrew in class. The time has come and I hope you have your copies! Remember, you can access both texts online, but will need to be able to read Taming in class (either on your phone, or hardcopy). Personally, I don't like to read on the computer/phone, so I prefer a hardcopy, but the choice is yours. We're going to start having reading quizzes on Doll House, to make sure you're up to date at home. We'll base our pace on how much we get through this week. Both plays will be on the unit test.
In order to get ready for this, please complete the Background PPT and the anticipation guide (both on the Resources Page) this weekend.
10th World Lit On Level
This week we'll start reading A Doll House by Henrik Ibsen. You'll also get your reading packet and Character Analysis Foldable Instructions and Rubric. The foldable will be your Mid Unit Benchmark and we will have a Unit Test on this play. If you miss a day, make sure you catch up on the online textbook linked on the blog.
