Final Week

This is it.  Our final exams will be on Wednesday (1st and 2nd block) and Thursday (4th block).  Study guides have been handed out and gone over in class.  All work has been graded, including the extra credit and makeup work. 

On Tuesday, students will receive their final unofficial English Progress Report, detailing their grades for all their assignments in this class.  As a final extra credit opportunity, please sign and return it to me on the day of the Final.

Extra Credit Essay

Very important!  9th Grade Lit, you must write your letter to Mr. William Shakespeare concerning his play Romeo and Juliet (not the movies, but the original writing of the play). 

American Lit, you must write your Cause and Effect essay about one of the periods we've covered in class.

I will accept the essay for extra credit when you have an average of 5 on all of the traits as well as overall.  You have 20 attempts to get feedback and improve your essay, so please use them wisely.  However, the higher your "score" the more extra credit you will receive. 

I will accept these essays until Friday, December 16th.
