Hello all!
This week is a very Student Directed Week. The students were given the I Need a Hero Narrative Checklist and I Need a Hero Unit 1 Final Unit Assesment handouts on Friday last week. They have deadlines to meet every day this week and through Tuesday next week. Students who do not meet the deadlines on each individual step will not receive credit on that step!
You can watch your progress online on Pinnacle through the Epic Narrative Checklist grade. Look at the list below to see of your student is on track with each deadline. Students should be working ahead of each deadline in order to finish on time.
Students who are on track as of Monday have 20 points.
Student should earn 20 points by Tuesday.
Students should earn 20 points by Wednesday.
Students should earn 10 points by Thursday.
Students should earn 30 points by Tuesday (next week).
Total of 100 points possible if they meet all of the deadlines.
Some students have already missed the first deadline as of today and cannot earn those first 20 points, however, they are still responsible for all subsequent deadlines.
Students who follow the Narrative Checklist are getting my (or Mr. Miller) to check off each step of their Writting Process. If they are getting their work check at each step, their narrative should be worth an A when they actually turn it in.
